DESCRIPTION
Dry hot-mix it is composed by a mix of inert (grit and sand) and bitumen, in order to be able to give a differed use at the ambient temperatures also 6 months later to the installation, suitable with the worsening of the pavement (road surface).
INERT MATERIAL
Inert are constitute by genuine elements, tough and polyhedral shaped, neat and without any dust or external material according to the CNR norm, pamphlet IV/1953 Chap. 1 and 2. Lithoid elements have not flattened, outstretched or lenticular shape. The inert mix is composed by a collection of thin aggregate, a bit thin aggregate and may it be some additive (filler) according to CNR norm, art. 1, pamphlet IV/1953.

BINDING BITUMINOUS
The binding, which has not toxic characteristics, keeps the needful requirements to allow the working also at 0°C temperature and it is of about 6% of the percentage in respect of the other aggregates. |

The dry hot-mix it is supplied in 25 Kgs sack. The sacks are made by plastic material with a thickness of 2,0mm minimum. The above mentioned material it is worked into minimum 2,5 cm thickness and it does not need particular solution for compacting. It does not undergo deformations un- der traffic effects, also in summer time. |
